A glimpse into Roslyn history, in the spring of 1945. Residents gathered for the United National Clothing Collection, donating clothing, shoes, and bedding to support war-torn countries overseas. With boxes packed and ready, neighbors worked together to help those in need. 🤍

The Roslyn Downtown Association has a proud tradition of sponsoring the display of the American flag throughout downtown Roslyn on five significant holidays each year, beginning with Memorial Day.

On Memorial Day, we pause to honor the men and women who gave their lives for our country and to remember that freedom comes at a cost. We also hold close the families who live with that loss each day.

We honor those who gave all, and we stand with those who serve now, and with the families who share their burden. More than 200,000 U.S. service members remain deployed around the world, far from home and often in danger. Let us keep them and their families in our thoughts and prayers, and give thanks for their service too.
