Last night the Roseville Optimist Club honored our Safety of the Year, Dakota Stevens! She shows up daily for her job before and after school. Dakota is kind, respectful, and responsible.

Last night we honored Alexis, our Safety of the Year! Alexis consistently showed up to make sure that everyone stayed safe in front of our school before and after school. She is reliable, consistent, courteous, and hard working.

June 20th - The Michigan District Optimist Walk for Childhood Health and Wellness this year will be right here in Roseville at Memorial Park. This annual walk raises money to help clubs with
financial aid for programs, projects and services that improve the quality of life for children in their communities across a broader spectrum of needs. For more information or to sign up to walk go to www.michiganoptimists.org

We are super excited to recognize our 4th grade Patton Bulldog, Shane, for being named Safety of the Year! 👏 What an amazing accomplishment and honor for such an outstanding student.⭐️

Shane consistently demonstrates strong leadership skills and shows the utmost respect to staff, peers, and our school community. Congratulations to the seven students honored as Safety of the Year at our Youth Respect for Law event!

We appreciate the Safety Patrol sponsors and principals for nominating and supporting their students.

Thank you to Board of Education members Michelle Williams-Ward and Joe DeFelice for attending as well as Superintendent Mark Blaszkowski.

Special thank you to Chief Mitchell Berlin as our guest speaker.

Jets Pizza on 10 mile were generous to donate the salad and Hungry Howies on 12 Mile in combination with the fire department the pizza.

Mr. Felker, Principal of Steenland and Roseville Optimist Club member, hosted the event.
