Healing from mental health and substance use challenges is not just the absence of symptoms. It’s a stable home, meaningful connection, and the tools to move forward. That is the promise of whole-person care.

In Roseville, prevention means strengthening those supports early—building connection, promoting mental wellness, and creating safe, supportive environments where our youth and families can thrive. When we invest in the whole person, we help reduce the risk of substance use and support long-term well-being.

At the Roseville Community Coalition, we’re committed to helping make those connections and supporting a healthier community for all.

As we wrap up another incredible school year with the ROSE Youth Coalition, our final meeting was filled with reflection, laughter, and appreciation for the memories we’ve created together. ❤️

Students came together to create a special legacy book where members shared their favorite memories of the ROSE Youth Coalition, best wishes to our graduating seniors, and what being part of ROSE has personally meant to them. From friendships and leadership growth to making a difference in our community, the impact of this group extends far beyond our meetings.

Youth coalitions like ROSE play an important role in promoting wellness, building leadership skills, creating positive peer connections, and helping prevent substance use disorder through education, advocacy, and community engagement.

We are so proud of each and every student who helped make this year meaningful. To our seniors: thank you for the legacy you leave behind. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things ahead for you! 🌟

A special thank you to the staff members at Roseville High School for their support in helping make this group and their meaningful impact possible.

Until next year, ROSE!🌹

Someone you love may face both a mental health condition and a substance use challenge. They deserve steady support—starting with you.

In our Roseville community, showing up with care, listening without judgment, and reaching out early can make a powerful difference. Prevention starts with connection, and no one has to navigate these challenges alone.

If more support is needed, help is available 24/7. Call or text 988 anywhere in the U.S., or chat via 988lifeline.org.

When we understand mental health challenges can be at the root of addiction, we start asking “how can we help?”—with no judgment. That question alone can make a big difference.

In Roseville, creating a supportive, stigma-free community is a key part of prevention. When we lead with empathy, check in on one another, and connect people to resources early, we can help reduce the risk of substance use and support healthier outcomes for our youth and families.

At the Roseville Community Coalition, we’re committed to building those connections and promoting a community where everyone feels seen, supported, and valued.

Mental health matters at every age. Life changes as we grow older as retirement, loss, or health challenges can impact well-being. Support is always available.

In Roseville, staying connected, engaged, and supported plays a key role in both mental wellness and preventing substance misuse among older adults. Whether it’s checking in on a neighbor, participating in community activities, or connecting to local resources, small actions can make a big difference.

At the Roseville Community Coalition, we’re committed to supporting older adults and caregivers by promoting connection, reducing isolation, and helping link our community to the support they deserve.

: Positive mental health is essential for kids as it supports reaching developmental milestones, building healthy relationships, and coping with life’s challenges.

In Roseville, supporting children’s mental health is a key part of preventing substance use later in life. When kids feel connected, supported, and equipped with healthy coping skills, they are more likely to make positive, healthy decisions.

Families, schools, and community partners all play a role. By working together, we can create safe, supportive environments where every child can thrive.

At the Roseville Community Coalition, we’re committed to promoting youth mental wellness and strengthening protective factors across our community.

More than 1 in 4 adults with serious mental health conditions also experiences a substance use concern. These two are often part of the same story. Prevention starts with understanding that connection.

At the Roseville Community Coalition, we’re committed to supporting mental wellness, building protective factors, and creating a community where our youth and families can make healthy, informed choices. By addressing mental health early and reducing stigma, we can help prevent substance use before it starts.

Whole-person care means supporting the mind and the whole person, together.

The Roseville Community Coalition is committed to raising awareness about the dangers of fentanyl and the impact it continues to have on individuals, families, and our community. Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid that is often mixed into other substances without people knowing, making it especially dangerous and a leading cause of overdose.

Awareness saves lives. Education saves lives. Conversations save lives.

We encourage everyone to:
• Learn the signs of an overdose
• Carry naloxone (Narcan) if you can
• Talk openly with friends, family, and youth about the risks
• Support those who may be struggling

Together, we can reduce stigma, promote prevention, and protect our community.

If you or someone you know needs support, please reach out. You are not alone. đź’ś

A day of action to raise public awareness about an urgent problem: illegally made fentanyl. Join our effort.
