Spruill Conservation Farm

Spruill Conservation Farm Welcome to the Spruill Conservation Farm. Our mission is education, research, and access. The Albemarle is the largest freshwater sound in the world.

The Spruill Home Place Farm on the SW shore of the Albemarle Sound in North Carolina has been set up as conservation easement protected land in December of 2023, allowing for low-impact public access, sustainable farming, environmental research and restoration, and education programs. The farm has 110 acres, 75 of which are in cultivation, and 1,600 feet of undeveloped shoreline on the sound. The

Spruill Loop Road is an unpaved road, and it is also known as NC State Road 1318

If #767 does not appear in your search, try 'Spruill Conservation Farm' in Roper. Warning: There is another Spruill Loop Road in Creswell, a 'Spruill Road' in nearby Pea Ridge, and a 'Loop Road' nearby, also. If you are not sure, the entrance to Spruill Loop Road is opposite a private residence, address 12554 Route 32, Roper. GPS coordinates for the farm gate on Spruill Loop Road are
N 35 degrees 55.937 minutes
W 76 degrees 34.596 minutes

Crystal Bowersox, a northwest Ohio native, has built her world around music. By the age of 10, she was performing in local clubs and venues. On the cusp of 18 and with a curious heart,
Crystal moved to Chicago, IL, where she spent her days busking on subway platforms between working odd jobs and attending school.
Chicago’s rich musical history helped Bowersox to broaden her musical horizons. Ultimately, Bowersox auditioned for the ninth season of American Idol, and her time on the show proved to
be well spent.
