The IBX Youth Rally is this Saturday, August 22, Belhaven Outdoor Stage.

Registration and games start at 4:30, supper follows, worship runs 6:00 to 8:30. Zack Holton is bringing the message.

🕊️ A word for your Thursday.

Two weeks into the school year and the worry list is already long. Grades, schedules, who your kid is sitting with at lunch, whether the money stretches to Friday.

Scripture doesn't tell you to stop caring. It tells you where to put the weight down.

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." Philippians 4:6

Every thing. Not the tidy things. Not the spiritual-sounding things. Every thing.

Take it to Him this morning. 🙏

On Sunday, August 30 at 6:00 PM, Zion's Chapel will fill again with the sound of voices raised in praise. Familiar hymns. New songs. Solos, duets, trios, and groups, coming together for one night to lift up the name of the Lord.

A new school year is here, and we want to send our students into it covered in prayer.

Join us tomorrow morning as we celebrate our kids and teens, friends, fun, and God’s Word together. Whether you’re starting kindergarten, walking into your senior year, or teaching the class, there’s a place for you here.

You don't get a fresh start once a year, or once a season. You get one every single morning.

Whatever yesterday cost you, the argument you handled badly, the thing you left undone, the worry you couldn't put down, His mercy did not run out overnight. It was replenished while you slept.

"It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22–23

Today is new. Walk into it. 🙏
