Join us on June 7 @ Saltworx from 10am-12pm for Mayo-Miles, a blindfolded walk for a powerful cause, the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Walk a mile in someone else’s shoes to raise awareness for vision loss. Participants will walk part of the route blindfolded to experience the world from a new perspective.

NCL will be helping in several ways with this event:
1. Volunteer to help set up, greeting, and help with check-in - 2 mother-daughter teams - 8:30-10:00 am - enter for 2 hours
2. Walk the event - register below - any amount of mother-daughter teams or TTs as a class - 10 am-12 pm - enter for 3 hours (donation and walking)
3. Volunteer to help clean up - 2 mother-daughter teams - 12 pm-1 pm - enter for 1 hour

This event is put on by Makenna Mayo, TT Class of 2027 and Stella McClure, TT Class of 2027 (now in the Dogwood Chapter).

These special ladies deserve to be commended on their amazing contributions to our community. As they move into the next chapter of their lives, we wish them all the best in their future endeavors and thank them for everything they have done to make Carteret County an even better place!

New volunteer opportunity = May Mayhem! We need 3 M/D teams to help on May 20, 2025 at West Carteret High School. Sign up on the NCL calendar! A fun game of basketball watching WCHS faculty vs Local Law Enforcement. Tip off is at 7pm! There will be food, 50/50 raffle, and all proceeds go towards finding a cure for ALS!! Even if you don’t sign up to help, please join us for a fun night, supporting a great cause ❤️

Ending our NCL year with a Patroness meeting on 5/19 @ Sanitary Restaurant from 6:30-8pm - this will be the last chance to earn a meeting credit!

And then let’s ring in the new year with the first all-chapter meeting on 6/1 @ First Methodist Church in MHC - meeting will begin @ 3pm. Job reveal & trainings will take place! We can’t wait to see everyone and gear up for another great year with NCL 🩷🩷

Mini-meeting recap! Well, that was a fun time! We loved learning a new skill, helping our community, and spending time together 🩷. January mini-meetings are definitely a highlight to an otherwise cold and windy month!
