How we feel about the 20 Year Reunion being only a few short weeks away: 😆🤠🥳

Had a lovely time celebrating Summer 2026 with our best friends a couple weeks ago at our Staff Banquet! We miss you guys already !!! Meet ya back here next summer? 🫶🥹

We are devastated to share that earlier this week, one of our long-time summer staff members, JJ Wilson, tragically passed away.

JJ loved the Lord in every area of his life, not only during his time serving at Camp War Eagle. He lived with a deep passion for Jesus, a genuine love for those around him, and a spirit marked by joy and zeal. He set an example for all of us—not only as an exceptional counselor, but as a faithful teammate, a loyal friend, and a devoted follower of Christ.

Our entire CWE family is grieving this loss and extends our deepest prayers and condolences to JJ’s family, friends, and all who were impacted by his life. His legacy on the peninsula will not be forgotten. ❤️‍🩹🕊️

For the first time in 6 years, the CONDOR HAVE WON THE SUMMER !!! ❤️‍🔥❤️

What an incredible way to finish out Summer 2026! Both teams worked incredibly hard all summer long. We are so grateful for our campers who fought, and the staff that pushed them to be better. Thank you to EVERYONE who makes Team Competition what it is; we are all purple together in the end. 💜
