It is so refreshing to have new faces & fresh perspectives join our team each and every summer. We truly couldn't imagine life on the peninsula without them. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

It is with a heavy heart that we share the recent passing of one of our former campers and staff members, Javier Tejidor.

Javi was a light to many, and we are grateful to know that he is with the Lord in peace.

CWE always grieves the loss of those that have been so invested with us as people, but also as partners in reaching the children of Northwest Arkansas. We extend our love and many prayers to Javi's family and friends, and any others impacted by this loss. 💙

This week's War Eagle Wednesday features Isaac Pohlmeier, a Kinesiology major at Ouachita Baptist!

Here's why he keeps coming back to CWE:
"Camp War Eagle is a truly special place where you will grow in every aspect of your life. It is a Christ-centered environment where you have the opportunity to not only grow in your own relationship with the Lord but also get to help the youth of NWA grow in their relationship with Him as well. You also get to build relationships and community with other college students around the country and build memories with them that will last a lifetime. Camp is a such a wonderful experience and truly my home away from home!"

Camp isn't just a week or two of your child's summer; it has the potential to impact their whole life.
Meet Hannah! She was a camper in 2006 and has stuck around camp in many different roles throughout the years. Her story is a picture of the legacy and life-change that comes from being invested in something bigger than yourself. 🤟

These are the faces of some former campers who were so impacted by their time at CWE that they decided to stick with it for the long haul and join our staff team, in a variety of roles & positions. We sure do love them!

For today's War Eagle Wednesday, we've got junior Addy Dalke from Oklahoma State, studying Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies!

🎤 "I worked at camp on a whim to serve the Lord and have fun! And it ended up being the best experience of my life! I love how camp changed my life in the best ways, I grew closer to Jesus, made lifelong friends, and got to serve our amazing campers! I will be coming back to camp to keep serving the Lord and helping campers make the best memories while learning about Jesus!!

📝 My favorite memory from camp was during sessions 5 and 6, getting to watch my Cabin 1 girls grow in relationships with each other and with the Lord! Or all of the times I got to spend at the barn and with the horses teaching campers how to ride and going on trail rides with my best friends!
