Please keep the Rocky Mount Police Department, North Carolina, K-9 Boone and handler in your thoughts and prayers.

K-9 Boone had a medical emergency during training and passed away. This could possibly be a Line of Duty death depending on the cause.

The 2026 Blue Knights Spring conference host hotel (Country Inn Suites) filled up faster than expected with over 60 reservations. More were promised...
We managed to acquire a great rate at an adjacent hotel.

Valentines Dinner with Blue Knights & the FOP

Tonight's monthly business meeting has been cancelled due to weather.

Reminder:

Shop for Cops and Kids tommorrow night 6:00 PM Walmart Rocky Mount.

Saturday:

Cops and Kids event at the Lodge 8:00 AM.

Blue Knights XXI and FOP Christmas Party 6:00 PM at the lodge. Please bring a covered dish or food.

Regarding the Funeral for WakeMed Police Office, Roger Smith...
We are meeting up at Sheetz Gas Station at 40 Cabela Dr. Garner, NC 27529 on Monday, November 17th at 9:30am sharp. If you are running late, please head directly to Providence Church (6339 Glenwood Ave. Raleigh, NC 27612).
From the Sheetz location it is a 30 minute ride to Providence Church (18 miles).
Blue Knights attire for this Service...Black Pants, White Collar Shirt and Blue Knights Vest. You may wear a baseball style hat after the bikes are parked.
Once we arrive at Providence, we will park as directed by the attending Law Enforcement Officers.
We have been requested to be in the es**rt from the Church Service to the Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park (12830 US 70 Business Hwy W Clayton, NC) adjacent to McLaurin Funeral Home. The Blue Knights will be at the back of the es**rt.
The weather for Monday will be sunny but cold in the morning and only warming up to a high of 61 in the afternoon...be sure to dress accordingly.
You do not need to rsvp for this event...we will ride with whoever shows up.
