The NCAF/PAWNC TEAM is made up of unpaid volunteers who are not at the Shelter. Nash County Animal Friends of NC (NCAF) is a very small group, and we publish the homeless pets available for adoption or rescue on Facebook and the adoption sites. Promoting Animal Welfare in NC (PAWNC) works with rescues plus handles donations and pet's sponsorships. They provide emergency vet care and vaccines for the Shelter homeless pets and spay/neuter for adopted dogs and cats. Each pet has their own sponsorship that goes with them to the Rescue for continued care, if not already spent on their vet care. PAWNC is a 501c3 charity. Our team helps during the transition from Shelter to Rescues. NCAF & PAWNC are networking volunteer advocacy groups working in partnership together for the greater good of the Nash County Animal Control Shelter homeless pets in Nashville, North Carolina. We are not Rescues. We assist Rescues, but cannot pull for Adopters.
