I heard this and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. 👀
I’m not saying I agree. I’m not saying I disagree.
I’m saying it made me pause, and anything that makes me pause long enough, I bring to my people.
So tell me. What do YOU think?
Drop your thoughts below. I want both sides. 👇🏾.

Your child does not need a perfect Christian parent. They need an HONEST one.

One who says "I don't know" instead of pretending to have all the answers. One who says "I was wrong, I'm sorry" instead of doubling down to protect their pride. One who says "I'm struggling with this too let's bring it to God together" instead of performing strength they don't have.

The pressure to be a perfect Christian parent is silently destroying the authenticity of your home.

Your children don't need a parent who never struggles. They need a parent who shows them what to DO with the struggle.

Faith modeled in weakness is more powerful than faith performed in strength.

Somebody share this with the parent who is exhausted from trying to keep it all together. ❤️

Can I tell you what God wants you to hear today?
You are faithful. Even on the days it didn’t look like it. Even on the days you felt like you were failing. Even on the days you were running on nothing and giving anyway.

God sees it all, every sacrifice, every prayer, every time you chose your family over your own exhaustion and He calls it faithful.

Receive that today. You’ve earned the right to hear it. 🙏🏾

When you picture a well-behaved child, what do you see?

Quiet. Compliant. Doesn't talk back. Does what they're told. Sits still. Doesn't make a scene.

When you picture an emotionally healthy child, what do you see?

Most parents pause at that question. Because we were never taught the difference.

We were raised to produce behavior. To make children look right on the outside. And nobody talked about what was happening on the inside.

Every day, millions of parents drop their kids off at school and hold their breath.
Not because they don't trust their child. But because they know what's waiting in that classroom and none of it mentions God.
You sit in church on Sunday and teach your kids that Jesus is the foundation of everything. Then Monday comes and they spend 7 hours in a building where He doesn't exist. Not in the math. Not in the science. Not in the reading. Not in the history.
And you feel it. That tension. That quiet grief of watching your child live in two separate worlds the one where God is everything, and the one where He's not allowed.
You've searched for curriculum. You've bought the devotionals. You've tried to squeeze faith into the margins of an education system that was never built for it.
But what if you didn't have to choose anymore?
What if math sounded like worship? What if science revealed the Creator? What if your child's workbook taught them nouns and verbs through the Word of God so that every single lesson, in every single subject, pointed them back to Jesus?
That's what Kingdom University is building right now for K-12 students.
Faith-first curriculum for kids, teens, and families. Workbooks. Music albums where children memorize multiplication and scripture at the same time. A complete education where God isn't squeezed into the margins, He IS the foundation.
And we want to make it available to every family for just $25.
Not $100. Not a subscription. $25 because every child deserves this, not just the ones whose parents can afford it.
We are a community-funded mission. No corporation. No big budget. Just parents, believers, and families who refuse to let the next generation grow up thinking faith and learning don't belong together.
If this hits you if you've ever felt that tension... we need you.
A donation of any size goes directly into building these resources. And if you can't give, share this. Put it in front of one parent who needs to know this exists.
The next generation is watching what we build for them. Let's make sure it points them to God.

Yes, I have an attitude… because you were really about to send that child to school without their morning affirmations.
But don’t worry, I got you covered.

Some homes look less like families and more like roommate situations.

Everybody voting.
Everybody negotiating.
Everybody arguing about the rules.

Parents… listen carefully.

Your home is not a democracy.

Children are not supposed to lead the house.

They are supposed to be guided, corrected, and taught.

When kids don’t see leadership at home, they start leading themselves.

And that’s when chaos begins.

Strong homes have strong leadership.

Hot take: A "well-behaved" child is not the same as a godly one and the church has confused the two for decades.

We've been so focused on raising children who don't embarrass us in public that we forgot to raise children who know God in private.

Obedient is not the same as surrendered. Quiet is not the same as peaceful. Compliant is not the same as convicted.

You can train a child into good behavior through fear and consequence. But you cannot train them into genuine faith. That has to be caught. Lived. Modeled.

A child who behaves perfectly but has never developed their own relationship with God is one hard season away from walking away from everything you raised them in.

We need to stop raising performers and start raising disciples.

Agree or disagree? I want the real conversation in the comments.

He did not.
He never has.
He never will. 👑🙏🦁

We cannot expect our children to be healed from things we haven’t been willing to address in ourselves. The cycle doesn’t break by praying for THEM to change. It breaks when WE do the work.

Healing is not weakness. It is the most powerful thing you will ever model for your child.

You owe it to them and you owe it to yourself.
