nd over time, thanks to the growth of AMICA’s annual Charity Gala, our sisterhood has grown and developed into an organization that supports a myriad of educational and charitable endeavors. Since 2005, we have given $1,000,000 back to the community. We are especially proud to promote and support the future of our community through education and causes assisting our youth. Each year AMICA awards scholarships to students at both Rockwall High School and Rockwall-Heath High School. These scholarships are given to promote good students who might not otherwise pursue higher education due to financial constraints. With this same goal of enhancing Rockwall’s future, we are proud to support the Rockwall Education Foundation, Rockwall Boys & Girls Club, a variety of RISD Programs, and the Rockwall YMCA. AMICA is honored to also support critical charities in our community such as: Rockwall Helping Hands, Alliance for the Arts, New Beginnings Center, Rockwall Rainbow Room, Friends of the Library, and Shoes for Kids. In addition to educational and philanthropic donations, AMICA members also dedicate time and talent each year to make Christmas Stockings and Easter baskets for the C.A.S.A.
