A fun time was had by all who came out to today’s Norwich Sea Unicorns game with the Yawgoog Alumni Association! Didn’t manage to get everyone in the photo but baseball was watched, popcorn was eaten, and camaraderie was had. Can’t wait for our next gathering at the 2026 Reunion!

In the news: Yawgoog's Rangers responded to this call on Sunday May 17th as members of the Hope Valley/Wyoming Fire Department.

The house was, unfortunately, a loss, but the day could have been far worse. While on scene, Ranger Brennan Reynolds retrieved the owner's cat from the home and Ranger Brian Mayer rendered aid to another firefighter on scene.

The Yawgoog Fire Department has a long history. Brennan and Brian, along with Superintendent John Vuono and many other Yawgoog Alumni, carry on that legacy today.

On Sunday, June 14, the Yawgoog Alumni Association is going to a ballgame and we want you to join us.

The Norwich Sea Unicorns will be taking on the Westfield Starfires at 1:00 at the lovely Dodd Stadium in Norwich, CT.

The Yawgoog Alumni Association has forty spots for members, friends, and family to watch the game together, hear some updates about what we've been working on at Yawgoog, and do the whole fellowship thing.

The cost to attend is $25 and you can register at the link below. While food will be included, Dodd Stadium does not, at the time of posting, serve fried lake smelts.

The importance of mental, emotional, and social health cannot be overstated.

Representative of Camp Yawgoog, Camp Norse, and Narragansett Council - Scouting America attended the MESH summit this weekend at June Norcross Webster Scout Reservation. The summit included meaningful sessions such as youth mental health first aid and also prompted discussions with other councils and camps about best practices regarding MESH with their Scouts, leaders, volunteers and staff.

Thank you to Diane, Martin, Peter, Jonathan, Mike, and Regina for your dedication to the well-being of all who participate in Scouting programs or visit our camps.

West Cabin Wednesday!

Progress continues in the West and East cabins thanks to the generosity of the Yawgoog Alumni Association.

After the awesome work done by RI Log Home Restoration sand blasting the walls in the cabins, the Yawgoog Rangers got busy preparing for floor insulation and then NEW FLOORS!
