It takes a village!

We are incredibly thankful to our 2026 pre-camp staff!

These fine men and women, under the leadership of the Yawgoog Rangers, set up new tent platforms, prepare waterfront docks, scrub kitchens, lots of tree work, renovate buildings, and much more behind the scenes that prepares Yawgoog to come alive!

Camp Yawgoog is an incredible place, but the staff and their hard work is what makes it what we have all come to love for one hundred eleven seasons.

Here they are, the 2026 individual camp shirts! Starting this Friday morning, you can jump to the front of the line to get your 2026 Camp Three Point, Medicine Bow or Sandy Beach Shirt in either classic cotton or performance fabric at yawgoog.org/trading-post. We know our Camp Directors loved them, but which one are you most excited to get?

Want to save space in your footlocker and still be prepared for camp? Don't forget these two essentials for your upcoming stay at Camp Yawgoog this summer! You can order your Mosquito Net and/or Gift Card ahead of your arrival at camp, then your unit leader will be able to pick it up at check-in on Sunday! All you have to do is write in your Troop information and week that you are attending. Unit leaders, you can order bug nets for the whole unit at once! You can walk a mile...

Or you can swim it!

Visit your camp waterfront during any free swim time to work on the first three requirements of the mile swim with one of our lifeguards and a buddy. Then return on Friday morning to swim the full mile with a rower and a spotter who will accompany you on the pond alongside our lifeguards and the other mile swimmers.

We are excited to announce Welding Merit Badge on-site at Camp Yawgoog this summer thanks to a partnership with General Dynamics Electric Boat, and BuildSubmarines.com!

The program is designed to introduce Scouts to basic welding concepts, including tool use, materials, safety procedures, and real-world applications. The partnership highlights a shared commitment to building awareness of skilled trades and connecting young people to future career opportunities.

Calling all Troops, Scouts, Alumni, Staff, and Volunteers!

Join us at Camp for our service weekend May 15th to 17th - help us make Yawgoog ready to come to alive!

Troops can register to stay the weekend alongside our camp staff and Tulpe Lodge 102 providing service. Anyone including Alumni and volunteers are more than welcome to join us on Saturday, May 16th. Meals are provided at the Three Point Dining Hall.
