To every Scout, adult leader, parent, alumni, staff member, and visitor who was part of this summer, thank you for making our 111th season truly unforgettable!

Learning from the experts!

We are incredibly fortunate to have Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency join us each week to assist in teaching the emergency preparedness merit badge.

The RIEMA, FEMA, and other emergency management professionals that join us each week show Scouts everything from how to use a geiger counter to how to how to prepare for a myriad of emergencies at home or in their community.

Ever seen a foam machine on the Donald North Court?!

Well it's a fan favorite with our day campers who are Cub Scouts in first through fifth grade. This is just one of the fun way younger Scouts get to have fun at Yawgoog with Day Camp before coming with a Troop as Scouts!

It was a pleasure to welcome Bishop Bruce Lewandowski to Yawgoog this morning! He currently serves as the Bishop of Providence, after previously serving in Baltimore.

Bishop Lewandowski had quite the eventful visit leading our morning Catholic mass, touring Yawgoog, joining us for our dress parade, and spending time interacting with Scouts!

Thank you, Bishop Lewandowski, for spending part of your morning with us and for sharing your time, faith, and support with the Yawgoog community. We’re grateful to have had you with us!

Camp Yawgoog. Thanks Narragansett Council - Scouting America for inviting TNC and Ecori News staff to talk with Scouts about careers in the environment and communications last night. Great questions and great energy from camp to camp.

We are incredibly grateful for the partnership with General Dynamics Electric Boat; their incredible instructors and generosity has allowed Scout at Yawgoog to try welding and immerse themselves in a skill that will set them up for future success.

Seeing the progress from a Scout welding for the first time, to seeing their finished project at the end of the week is incredible!
