Homes Giving Hope

Homes Giving Hope We empower our residents with the dignity of making
their own choices.

We believe that every uniquely abled adult deserves the dignity of living in a home where they feel safe, loved, cared for, with opportunities to grow in their independence.

Meet Justin.

He has been part of the HGH community for a year and a half. He came in with goals and works hard to meet every single one. He is the kind of person who shows up for others without being asked, greets every day with a genuine smile, and logs every step of his daily walks through downtown Rockford like they matter, because to him, they do.

A year and a half in, this community has become his community. The people who started as strangers have become something closer to family. He has made this place truly his own.

That is Homes Giving Hope. A place where uniquely-abled adults aren't just cared for, they're known, celebrated, and surrounded by people who genuinely show up for them.

This past April, Justin celebrated a birthday. And we celebrated right along with him.

Justin, this community is better because you are in it. ♥

Since day one, IPM has been part of the Homes Giving Hope story.

Year after year, their volunteers have shown up with generous hearts and willing hands, helping us create real homes where uniquely abled adults can grow in independence, experience belonging, and live meaningful lives.

Their faithful partnership has made a lasting impact on our residents, families, and community.

IPM, thank you for standing with us from the very beginning. We are grateful for your continued support and the difference you help make every day.

We love getting to share moments like this one.

A walk to downtown.
A game at the picnic table.
A fire pit glowing nearby, with friends.

No program, no plan, just our residents stepping out the front door and making an evening out of it in the town they get to call home.

This is what we get to do. This is why we are here. And we love getting to share it with every single one of you.

💬 If HGH has meant something to your family, we would love to hear about it in the comments.

Help us spread a little joy this summer ☀️🍬

We’re collecting candy for an upcoming parade and would love for our community to be part of it.

These moments matter. They create connection, laughter, belonging, and memories our residents carry with them long after the parade ends.

If you’d like to donate candy, send us a message or drop donations off at our new HGH office anytime before June 3. (8485 Algoma Ave Unit C, Rockford MI 49341)

Because community is something we build together 💛

Help us welcome our newest Support Resident Assistant!

"Hi, my name is Wini Revoir. After working in commercial banking for most of my career, I retired in January 2026. I have volunteered for a week each summer for about 25 years with a Christian camp for adults with unique abilities. I've enjoyed that experience very much and have several friends from camp that I see regularly throughout the year. When I first heard about HGH in the fall of 2024, I had just been diagnosed with breast cancer but loved the idea of what HGH does. Sara met me for coffee and told me more about it. Fast forward to January 2026 when I finished the last of 18 months of treatments, and in March I became aware of the opening for an SRA at Homes Giving Hope. I reached out to Sara and also had the opportunity to meet with Alexa and Amber. Here we are in May 2026 and I'm starting as an SRA. I'm excited for this awesome opportunity to meet new friends and share a connection with them!"

We are excited and blessed to have you Wini.
