“Lymph node suggestive of metastatic disease…”

That was the ultrasound report Dr. Jennifer Veaco read on her own patient portal in November 2022. She immediately began thinking through the differential diagnosis and treatment for two patients: herself and her baby. She was 28 weeks pregnant.
