There is something powerful about seeing a student realize that their story matters. 💙

As we look back on our 2026 , we are reminded that behind every smile, every hug, and every moment of recognition is a young person who has persevered, grown, and continued showing up despite the challenges they may have faced along the way.

These moments do not happen by accident. They happen because a community chooses to invest in its students. They happen because educators, families, volunteers, partners, and supporters believe every child deserves to be seen, celebrated, and encouraged.

As we approach the close of our fiscal year on June 30, we invite you to help us continue creating moments like these. Your year-end gift helps us invest in students, support educators, and strengthen opportunities that make a lasting difference across Rock Hill Schools.

Because when we invest in students, we invest in the future of our entire community.

We’re still smiling from our 2026 Student Celebration. 💙

One of our favorite parts of the evening was hearing directly from the students, families, educators, and school leaders who make this community so special.

The Student Celebration is about recognizing resilience, celebrating growth, and reminding students that they are seen, valued, and supported by an entire community that believes in them.

As we continue reflecting on this year’s celebration, we’re sharing a few of those voices and moments that made the evening so meaningful.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! 🎓💙

We had the joy of celebrating students across each of our high schools as they crossed the stage and stepped into their next chapter. Every ceremony was filled with pride, excitement, reflection, and so many reminders of the incredible young people within our district.

We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish next. Once a part of this district, always a part of this community. 👏

For many students, bus drivers are the first smile they see in the morning and the last voice they hear before heading home. 💙

In this episode of Sit In It, we celebrate Ms. Teresa and the quiet but powerful impact she has on students each day through consistency, kindness, and care.

Sometimes the people shaping a student’s experience the most are the ones working behind the scenes, showing up day after day without expecting recognition in return. This episode is a reminder that every role matters and every act of care leaves an impact.

What a night. 💙✨

Our 2026 Student Celebration was a beautiful reflection of the students we serve and the community that surrounds them. It was an evening filled with joy, connection, and meaningful moments as we celebrated growth, achievement, and the journeys that unfolded throughout the school year.

From the energy in the room to the stories shared, it was clear that this work is about community. Students who are stepping into their potential, and a village that continues to show up for them every step of the way.

We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this night possible and proud of every student we had the honor of celebrating.

Some people impact a school without ever standing at the front of a classroom.

They do it in the hallways. In the small conversations. In the consistency of showing up every single day with care, presence, and encouragement.

Mr. Freddie is one of those people.

While many know him as part of the custodial staff, students know him as so much more. A warm smile in the hallway. A familiar face. Someone who challenges them with words of the day and reminds them, often in simple ways, that they are seen and capable of more.

The role he plays in the life of the school cannot be measured by a job title alone.

In Episode 3 of Sit In It, and in honor of , Mr. Freddie was invited to pause and hear directly from those impacted by the way he shows up every day.
