Community members are encouraged to exercise caution when driving. We are receiving reports of poor road conditions in some portions of the district.

Hugger Elementary families: Please be aware that trees are reported to be down on Sheldon Road.

Adams families: Tienken Road is closed west of Adams. Parents should enter the parking area from Adams Road and will not have access to the loop.

Rochester and Stoney Creek families: The Rochester High School Falcon Frenzy is canceled from 4-7 p.m. for this evening. The Rochester and Stoney Creek football games may continue if weather and conditions permit. Additional details will follow.

Future Highlanders!!! Join Rochester Adams Highlanders with Adams High School PTSA from 4:30–7:00 PM for an evening full of fun, friends and school spirit! 🥳

Look at the fun “first day” photos City of Rochester Hills- Government posted of district’s School Resource Officers (SROs).

“The SROs from “Oakland County Sheriff's Office and Rochester Police Michigan are the best of the best, and our students in Rochester Community Schools, MI, MI and Avondale School District are lucky to have them. Here's to a great 2026-27 school year!”

THe SRO for Van Hoosen is Deputy Kenneth Brown who came to VH last spring! Thank you Deputy Brown for serving our community!
