Thank you to the approximately 80 people who joined the Delaware River and Pompeston Creek Cleanup! We collected over 80 bags of trash and spent a beautiful morning enjoying the many environmental resources we have in our community. Thank you to Environmental Commission Chair Michael Gawbill for organizing and and to the Borough of Riverton Public Works team for their support. And thanks to State Senator Troy Singleton for bringing his volunteer team to the event as well as other groups who participated such as Spearhead Project Earth. We are also grateful for the continuing trail clearing and maintenance support at the Pompeston Creek that has been provided by Ronan Kelly and his students at St. Joe’s Prep. The outside world of real estate is continuing to erode Riverton’s historic architectural character.
Come and learn about what’s happening and what Borough Council can do to protect your investment in Historic Riverton - in a way that’s right for us.
This is a good opportunity to help finalize an ordinance that will encourage preservation and discourage the fast-buck flippers and remuddlers.

Today marks the 50th anniversary of Ptl. Thomas Whitelock's line of duty death. In remembrance of his life and service members of the community, local first responders and family of Ptl. Whitelock will gather at his memorial (Broad and Main) at 1:00PM to honor him.
