Here is where LGBTQ students can come together with allies to create a safe place and give back to the community. We are dedicated to bringing awareness of the LGBTQ community, breaking myths, learning more about the LGBTQ history, and getting involved with other universities and schools in Riverside, SoCal, the entire West Coast and the whole Seventh-day Adventist network. One very important goal

for PRISM is to get further networked with the IAGC: Intercollegiate Adventist GSA Coalition. Together we can create an even larger conversation as we settle into a loving environment based on the Seventh-day Adventist faith. We, along the other universities involved with IAGC, are coming together to stand above the discrimination we face as a community with the support of one another in and out of our university. Join our movement. Most of all, live in love.

PRISM was honored at the 2022 Riverside Pride Gayla. PRISM officers Cameron Martinez (President), Alessandra Ramos (Marketing Director), Jesus Noriega (VP of Outreach and Education), Chloe Gabriel (Secretary) and Julio Rubio (Treasurer) were awarded a Certificate of Recognition from the California Legislature’s office.

PRISM continues to bring awareness and further conversations that include LGBTQ+ folks on our Adventist campus. We were honored to attend the gayla and to have met Sabrina and Clarissa Cervantes; two openly q***r assembly members.

Wear your cap and gown or formal attire 🎓

In accordance with Riverside County’s essential work policies, students from PRISM will be volunteering at an IEHP Food Drive. The event will be happening every Monday during the month of October from 7:30am-11:30am. We will be at the Riverside Community Church located at 4850 Jurupa Ave, Riverside CA 92504.

Help our local community feed the residents of Riverside during this global pandemic. Make sure to bring your face masks and be ready to work.
