Motion creates energy.

Exercise creates energy.

When you move your body, your circulation improves.
Your muscles wake up.
Your heart pumps more efficiently.
Your mind becomes more alert.

That's why a short walk can leave you feeling better than an extra hour on the couch.

Movement stimulates the body.

Sitting for long periods often creates the very fatigue people are trying to escape. The less you move, the less energy you tend to have.

Action creates momentum.

A few minutes of movement can change the course of your entire day.

Take a walk around the block.
Do a few squats.
Stretch your muscles.
Climb a flight of stairs.

You don't have to wait until you feel energetic to begin.

Begin moving.

Energy often follows.

Your body was designed for motion.

Use it.

Motion creates energy.

This is why in the Young Marines we begin the first hour of drill with vigorous physical training.

The Young Marines learn that exercise is not something to avoid or be afraid of. They learn to be comfortable with performing it.
