Chicagoland Young Marines receive their briefing from a 3rd Infantry Regiment Soldier on posting their wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Arlington National Cemetery.

One month prior to our visit, Arlington National Cemetery sent a video to our unit on how to properly conduct the posting of the wreath at the tomb.

Those Young Marines who were selected to post the wreath, spent several drills practicing. To get it right, our Young Marines used the gazebo in River Grove, marching together up and down the stairs, simulating the stairs at the tomb of the unknown soldier.
