🌧️🐾 A rainy morning in the life of a foster mom… featuring Ernie! 🐾🌧️
Rainy Sundays are made for slow mornings, extra cuddles, cozy blankets, and a little bit of puppy love. ❤️

This morning’s agenda? Snuggling with Ernie, listening to the rain, and getting ready for a full day of NFL Sunday football! 🏈📺 Ernie is clearly convinced that my lap is the best seat in the house, and honestly, who am I to argue? 😂🐶

People sometimes ask what life as a foster looks like, and the truth is, it’s a lot of little moments like this. It’s rearranging your morning around a dog who needs extra love, sharing your favorite blanket, cleaning up the occasional mess, and realizing that somehow, this little soul has worked his way into your heart. ☕️🐾

Fostering isn’t always easy, but mornings like this remind me why it’s so worth it. Every cuddle and every happy moment is a reminder that these dogs deserve to know what it feels like to be safe, loved, and home. ❤️

For now, Ernie and I will be accepting applications for professional cuddle buddies, snacks, and anyone willing to share the couch on NFL Sunday. 😉

🏡 Ernie is looking for his forever home! Could you be the one to give this sweet boy a lifetime of cozy mornings and unconditional love?

🧬🐾 THE RESULTS ARE IN! 🐾🧬

Okay… who got it right?! 👀

Our handsome former LBDR boy Hermes, now Stitch, had his DNA tested by his family, and we have the results!

🥁🥁🥁

🧬 64.2% American Pit Bull Terrier
🧬 13.5% Supermutt
🧬 9.2% Bluetick Coonhound
🧬 7.2% German Shepherd
🧬 5.9% Golden Retriever

Honestly… we definitely saw the Pit Bull possibility, but that Bluetick Coonhound, German Shepherd and Golden Retriever had us guessing! 😂

And that 13.5% Supermutt? That just means Stitch is extra special. ❤️🐾

One thing we know for sure:

💯 GOOD BOY. 🥰

We LOVE getting updates from our LBDR alumni and seeing them living their absolute best lives. 🥹❤️

Did you guess any of these breeds?! Tell us how many you got right! 👇😂
