Join us for The Bee Suite: A Five Star Stay for Bees at the P&HCC Fab Lab! During this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn what bees need to thrive, then paint and adorn your own bee habitat to create a welcoming space for native bees and other pollinators. Best of all, you’ll get to take it home!🐝🏨

PRESS RELEASE: Nicholas Jenkins Receives Mayor Edward Page Scholarship for Public Service

Magna Vista High School Senior Nicholas Jenkins Awarded Mayor Edward Page Scholarship for Public Service

The Town of Ridgeway is pleased to announce that Nicholas Jenkins, a graduating student of Magna Vista High School, has been selected to receive the Mayor Edward Page Scholarship for Public Service in the amount of $500.

Jenkins was selected in recognition of his outstanding dedication to volunteer and community service, as well as his high academic achievement and commitment to excellence in the classroom.

The Mayor Edward Page Scholarship for Public Service honors students who demonstrate the values of service, leadership, academic achievement, and a commitment to making a positive difference in their communities.

This fall, Jenkins will attend Radford University, where he plans to study pre-med with a focus on physical therapy. His commitment to helping others through both service and his future career makes him a fitting recipient of this scholarship.

“ Nicholas Jenkins represents the very best of what we hope to see in our young people—academic excellence, a willingness to serve others, and a desire to make a difference,” said Mayor Craig O’Der. “It is my honor to recognize Nicholas with the Mayor Edward Page Scholarship for Public Service, and I wish him tremendous success as he begins this next chapter at Radford University.”

The Town of Ridgeway congratulates Nicholas Jenkins on this well-deserved honor and wishes him continued success in his education, career, and future service to others.
