Our auxillary is rooted in excellence, sisterhood, and deeply committed to uplifting our community. The Zeta Amicae of Richton Park, affectionately known as “The Extraordinary 19,” proudly holds a historic place in the legacy of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Chartered on October 5, 2024, we are honored to be recognized as the largest auxiliary group ever chartered in the history of Zeta Am
icae! With 19 Dynamic, service-driven women, our auxiliary is rooted in excellence, sisterhood, and deeply committed to uplifting our community. The Amicae (Latin for “Friends”) was established in 1948 under the direction of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated to provide a space for women who believe in and support the mission of Zeta, but who were not eligible for membership in the Sorority. Zeta Amicae auxiliaries have played an essential role in promoting the ideals of Service, Scholarship, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood through collaborative initiatives alongside their sponsoring chapters. Richton Park’s auxiliary is sponsored by the extraordinary women of Tau Alpha Zeta Chapter. With pride, we share that 11 of our 19 charter members are Legacy Amicae! Our community service efforts reflect our mission to make a meaningful impact in Richton Park and surrounding communities. We are actively involved in initiatives that support youth education, elder care, women’s wellness, civic engagement, and social justice. From hosting donation drives, volunteering at local shelters, and participating in health and wellness events to empowering future leaders through mentorship and scholarships, our goal is simple—to serve with purpose and passion. The Zeta Amicae of Richton Park is more than an auxiliary—we are a movement. A sisterhood of women committed to supporting Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and transforming lives through service, dedication, and unity. Together, we are The Extraordinary 19—shining a light of love, leadership, and legacy in all we do.
