🎒⚜️ Pack 910 at Bentley Meet the Teacher! ⚜️🎒

We had a great time representing Cub Scout Pack 910 at Bentley Elementary’s Meet the Teacher! 💙💛

Three of our Scouts came out and represented the Pack incredibly well, helping families learn more about Cub Scouting and all the fun, friendship, and adventure ahead this year.

Families enjoyed hearing about Scouting…but we think it’s safe to say the REAL star of the night was our “Let’s Go Fishing” game! 🎣😂 The kids (and their parents) couldn’t get enough!

Thank you, Bentley, for welcoming us and letting us be part of such an exciting night. We loved meeting so many families and future Scouts!

📚🍎 What a great night at Meet the Teacher! 💙💛

It was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces and meeting new families at Terrell, Hubenak, and Fagert Elementary last night!

A huge thank you to all of our Scouts, families, and volunteers who represented Pack 910 and helped share the excitement of Cub Scouting with our community.

We're incredibly grateful for our strong partnerships with our local schools and the opportunity to connect with families as they kick off a new school year.

If you stopped by our booth and are interested in learning more about Cub Scouts, we'd love to see you at our 🎉 Back to Scouting Fun Day on Saturday, August 29, from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM!

What a weekend! 🏕️

Our Pack 910 Scouts (and their parents) took on the Texas heat, battled the mosquitoes, and still had an absolute blast during our camping adventure at Brazos Bend State Park!

Highlights from the weekend included:
🚲 Miles of bike riding through the park
🧭 Hunting for geocaches—and even hiding our very first Pack geocache for others to discover!
🔭 Exploring the George Observatory and learning more about the night sky
🍛 Trying new camp meals and cooking together
🔥 Making memories, building confidence, and enjoying the great outdoors with friends

This is what Cub Scouting is all about: Adventure, learning new skills, trying new things, and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Way to go, Pack 910! We can't wait for the next adventure! 🐾💙💛

We're thrilled to welcome back Jay from Tenacious Bike Fitting & Service!

You may remember when Jay joined one of our Wolf & Bear den meetings to teach bike safety and basic maintenance this past year.

It was one of those meetings that left a lasting impression.

Not only did Jay help our Scouts work toward their cycling adventures, but he took the time to encourage each child at their own level. We watched several Scouts who lacked confidence on their bikes gain the skills—and the courage—to ride independently by the end of the meeting.

That's the kind of impact that sticks with a child.

We're incredibly grateful that Jay is volunteering his time again this year to lead our Bike Safety & Inspection Tent at our Bike Rodeo & Snowball Fight on July 26.

Whether your child is a seasoned rider or just learning, stop by and let Jay help make sure their bike is safe, their helmet fits properly, and they're ready for an afternoon of fun.

Bring the kids out for Pack 910's Bike Rodeo & Snowball Fight! Whether your child already loves riding or is just gaining confidence on two wheels, this is a great afternoon to practice skills, stay active, and have a blast.

📍 Jones Creek Park (Back parking lot by the pickleball courts)

Your family will enjoy:

⛑ Helmet fitting & safety tips

❄️ And we'll finish by cooling off with a GIANT snowball fight!

A huge THANK YOU to the Fort Bend County Commissioners Court, Commissioner Andy Meyers, and Jones Creek Ranch Park for your support of Cub Scout Pack 910 this year! 🇺🇸🐾

Today, we had the honor of presenting a plaque of appreciation in recognition of their partnership and support in allowing us to utilize facilities at Jones Creek Ranch Park.

When changes within the school district resulted in meeting space costs that significantly impacted our pack, access to county facilities became a critical piece of keeping our program sustainable and accessible for local families. Because of this support, our Scouts have continued to learn, grow, serve, and experience the adventures that make Scouting so meaningful.

We are deeply grateful for the investment Fort Bend County makes in youth programs and community organizations. Partnerships like these help ensure that Scouting remains available to the next generation of leaders right here in our community.

And yes... before anyone asks, summer brain has apparently arrived right on schedule. While our Scouts remembered to bring the plaque, many seem to have already forgotten what "Class A Uniform" means and how neckerchiefs are supposed to work. 😂 Fortunately, public speaking skills were much stronger than neckerchief placement today!

Thank you again to the Commissioners Court for helping Pack 910 continue to thrive. Your support truly makes a difference for the youth and families we serve.

We are incredibly grateful for a community that shows up for our Scouts in the most meaningful ways. 💙

Pack 910's Wolves and Bears have had the privilege of learning from some truly amazing professionals who gave their time and expertise to help shape our next generation:

🚴‍♂️ A huge thank you to Jay from Tenacious Bike Fitting & Service for working with our Scouts on bike safety and riding skills. We had three Scouts who were struggling to ride confidently and they left riding and excited about it! Watching that confidence build in real time was something special.There is something powerful about kids learning alongside their peers. Confidence grows, curiosity spreads, and suddenly things click.

🔍 And thank you to Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office investigators Megan Baird and Megan Carerra for coming out to support our Scouts in earning their forensics advancement. The hands-on learning experience was unforgettable and sparked so much curiosity and excitement.

We are so thankful to be surrounded by a community full of incredible professionals who are willing to step in, give back, and invest in our Scouts. YOU are making a lasting impact!
