A MOVE SHOULD NOT MEAN STARTING OVER.

Thank you to Southeastern Bank and the Southeastern Bank Community Foundation for awarding Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom a $2,000 grant in support of our WINGS Initiative.
This investment will help cover FAA Part 107 exam fees, travel to testing locations, and retake costs for military spouses and women veterans in our 2027 cohorts.

Why does this matter? The FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate is recognized nationwide. When military orders bring a move to a new state, a woman can carry her credential with her and continue building career opportunities without starting her certification journey over.

Day of Agriculture & Drones | P.R.O.S.P.E.R. Cohort 2026-2

Our veterans and military spouses stepped beyond the traditional classroom to explore how agriculture and drone technology connect to workforce and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Agriculture Industry Highlights

Participants learned about cattle operations and the importance of safe, efficient handling.

They explored how reliable feedlot equipment can support cattle flow, operator safety, and reduced downtime. Arrowquip’s Army Series equipment offered a practical example.

Veteran farmers shared firsthand knowledge, reaching back to teach the next generation of veterans and military spouses.

Drone Industry Highlights

Participants discussed how drones can support agriculture and other industries.

They explored uses such as observing land, monitoring livestock, and supporting farm operations.

Through the cohort’s training pathway, participants are building skills toward FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot credentials and future opportunities in the drone industry.

Military spouses serve, lead, adapt, and sacrifice every day. Their service may not come with a uniform or rank, but it carries strength, resilience, and commitment.

Too often, military spouses put career goals on hold while supporting a loved one’s mission. They deserve support for their own goals, too.

At Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom, we believe military spouses deserve opportunities to build skills, grow their networks, and prepare for what’s next. Mentorship can help turn experience into direction and open doors to new possibilities.

Through American Corporate Partners (ACP), eligible military spouses can connect with professional mentors for guidance on career goals, networking, and their next steps.

Alexandra brings experience in communications, marketing, community outreach, and graphic design. As a military spouse, she also brings a personal understanding of the experiences and strengths military families contribute to their communities.

In this role, Alexandra will help us share our work, strengthen community connections, and connect veterans, military spouses, and families with meaningful programs and opportunities. We’re looking forward to the creativity, ideas, and perspective she’ll bring to CB2TB.
