Steffanie, Owner and Lead Instructor of TCB Drones Academy, recently shared a powerful testimonial about one of CB2TB P.R.O.S.P.E.R. veterans Antonio Knox who embraced the opportunity to earn his FAA Part 107 certification.

Not only did he change the trajectory of his future, but he also set a new TCB Drones Academy record for the fastest progression from training to certification.

From service to entrepreneurship. This veteran leveraged his FAA Part 107 certification to add drone capabilities to his photography business, expanding his skill set, increasing his marketability, and elevating his business to new heights.

The formula works. The opportunity works. The results speak for themselves.

Now, we're excited to bring that same energy and impact to P.R.O.S.P.E.R. 2.0 (Military Spouse Edition)!

With nearly 20 years of Federal Government experience, CB2TB Executive Director & Co-Founder Mrs. Lynnetta Smith, MPA understood early that FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot Certification would become more than a technical credential — it would become a direct pipeline into high-wage federal careers for Veterans and Military Spouses. That vision is exactly why Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom integrated FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot Training into the P.R.O.S.P.E.R. workforce development program.

The current U.S. Secret Service Aviation and Airspace Security Division opening is a real-time example of the opportunities now emerging nationwide. This GS-11 through GS-13 federal position, with salaries ranging approximately from $85K–$158K, requires an active FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification and focuses on UAS operations, homeland security, and protective airspace missions supporting the President and Vice President of the United States.

This opportunity closes May 25, and P.R.O.S.P.E.R. Veterans who completed training and obtained certification are now postured to apply competitively for this federal career pathway.

These are not hobby drones. These are nationally recognized workforce certifications connected to careers in homeland security, public safety, logistics, infrastructure inspection, agriculture, emergency management, and federal aviation operations.

CB2TB’s P.R.O.S.P.E.R. Drone Workforce Pathway was intentionally designed to prepare Veterans and Military Spouses for emerging industries where technology, security, and workforce development intersect.

From Transition to Transformation. Service to the Skies.

DAY OF GOODWILL | DIGITAL LITERACY IN ACTION

The Day of Goodwill marked more than a laptop distribution — it represented access, opportunity, and transformation through partnership.

Through the collaboration between AT&T, Compudopt, Goodwill Southeast Georgia, and Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom, 100 refurbished laptops were placed into the hands of Savannah residents, veterans, and military families to strengthen digital literacy, workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, and long-term economic mobility.

For many individuals, access to technology remains one of the greatest barriers to career advancement, education, and workforce development. This partnership helps bridge that gap by ensuring participants have the tools needed to engage in training programs, build professional skills, apply for employment opportunities, and navigate today’s digital workforce environment.

CB2TB remains committed to helping veterans and military families transition from service to sustainable success through innovative workforce development initiatives aligned with our P.R.O.S.P.E.R. pathway model. Alongside Goodwill Southeast Georgia’s leadership in community impact, AT&T’s continued investment in digital inclusion, and Compudopt’s mission to provide technology access to underserved communities, this initiative represents what strategic collaboration can accomplish when organizations unite around purpose.

A special thank you to Jason Marshall, President & CEO of Goodwill Southeast Georgia; Gary Sanchez, Regional Director of External Affairs at AT&T Georgia; Mayor Van R. Johnson II, City of Savannah; and Lynnetta Smith, MPA, Executive Director & Co-Founder of Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom, for supporting efforts that continue expanding access, equity, workforce opportunity, and digital empowerment across our communities.

This is bigger than technology.
This is workforce transformation.
This is digital empowerment.
This is community impact in motion.

“Who Are You Adding To This Frame Today?”

Today, we proudly honor Military Spouse Appreciation Day, observed annually on the Friday before Mother’s Day, a national observance established in 1984 to recognize the sacrifices, resilience, strength, and unwavering commitment of military spouses across our country.

This frame is dedicated to the spouses who serve behind the service.

The ones who endure deployments, hold families together through transitions, carry the emotional weight of uncertainty, and continue showing up with strength, grace, and resilience every single day.

As a longtime military spouse and leader of Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom, this mission is personal. Through our P.R.O.S.P.E.R. Veteran Transitional Pathway Program and workforce development initiatives, we understand that transition impacts the entire military family, and military spouses are often the backbone of that journey.

So today, we ask again:

Who are YOU adding to this frame today?

Tag a military spouse below and take a moment to thank them for their sacrifice, resilience, and unwavering support. 🇺🇸❤️

You are SEEN.
You are VALUED.
You are ESSENTIAL.

❤️ Happy Military Spouse Appreciation Day!

One Community. One Campus. Unlimited Opportunity.

Today, Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom had the honor of attending the Annual Meeting hosted by Goodwill Southeast Georgia — and what a transformational moment it was for our region. Executive Director & Co-Founder, Lynnetta Smith witnessed firsthand a bold vision for the future as the organization unveiled plans for the upcoming Goodwill Opportunity Campus — a true game changer for our community and generations to come.

This innovative campus will initially house 13 Community Partners under one collaborative ecosystem, helping eliminate duplicate efforts while increasing accessibility to critical services for families and individuals in need. Instead of community members driving 60–80 miles between multiple organizations searching for help, the Opportunity Campus will centralize resources in one location designed to create real pathways toward stability and success.

The campus will support services including:

• Education & Workforce Development
• Credit Counseling & Financial Literacy
• Food Security Resources
• Child Care Advocacy
• Legal Services
• Homelessness Prevention Support
• Healthcare Access
• Georgia Department of Human Services Resources
…and so much more.

As a nonprofit organization proudly partnering with Goodwill, Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom is excited about what this collaborative model means for veterans, military families, youth, and the entire community. This is more than a building — this is infrastructure for opportunity, empowerment, and long-term impact.

This is what happens when organizations stop competing and start collaborating.

Leadership Today. Impact Tomorrow.

Leadership starts with service, vision, and the courage to step forward when opportunity calls.

Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom proudly congratulates Nicole Smith on being honored by the City of Richmond Hill during last night’s City Council Meeting (May 5th, 2026) for her recent appointment to the GMA LeadershipNext Statewide Youth Council. Nicole will now represent Richmond Hill alongside student leaders from across Georgia at the upcoming statewide conference in Savannah, Georgia.

This recognition reflects her continued commitment to leadership, academic excellence, volunteerism, and civic engagement. We are proud to watch her continue building a pathway that inspires the next generation of young leaders throughout our community and beyond.

Thank you to the City of Richmond Hill for recognizing and investing in youth leadership and the future of our communities.

National Small Business Week | Building What Matters

During National Small Business Week, partnerships like Goodwill and CB2TB demonstrate what real ecosystem building looks like. When an established organization aligns with an emerging nonprofit, it accelerates scale, expands service delivery, and strengthens access points for the community—especially for those navigating transition and workforce entry.

Together, we operationalize impact through an Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, Soft Skills Training, and immersive simulations with role-playing exercises grounded in case-based analysis and experiential learning. We also integrate practical financial literacy—leveraging Goodwill’s retail environment to teach money management, including how to build a complete, interview-ready professional outfit for under $20.

This is more than collaboration—it’s disciplined capacity building. Infrastructure meets innovation, and the outcome is a workforce that is prepared, confident, and economically empowered.

From Certification to Capital. 💼🚀

The mission doesn’t stop at certification—it evolves. Our P.R.O.S.P.E.R. veterans have completed FAA Part 107 Drone Training, and now we shift into ex*****on mode with Digital Literacy Training & the Entrepreneur Bootcamp.

This is where skill meets strategy—where ideas become businesses, and preparation turns into ownership. May 4 marks the next phase: building brands, strengthening financial literacy, and activating real pathways to economic mobility.

A strategic thank you to Goodwill’s Career Center – Learning & Development Team and AT&T for investing in access, innovation, and long-term success for those who served.

Built on Discipline. Leading with Purpose.
Nicole Smith, NHS President | Class of 2027

Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom proudly recognizes our rising senior, Nicole Smith, on her appointment as President of the National Honor Society at Richmond Hill High School for the Class of 2027.

As Co-Founder of Kits 4 Kids and CB2TB Youth Council President, Nicole represents the standard of leadership we cultivate—grounded in discipline, guided by purpose, and executed with integrity. She continues to demonstrate that leadership is not defined by recognition, but by consistent action, service, and commitment to others.

This achievement is not simply a title—it reflects the character, resilience, and quiet determination developed through years of showing up, doing the work, and leading by example.

At CB2TB, we often say you don’t have to be the best—you just have to give your best. Nicole embodies that principle daily, and this milestone is a direct result of that mindset.

We are proud to see one of our own continue to lead, serve, and set the standard for the next generation.
Composed. Disciplined. Leading the Standard.

It’s Powerful to Be Consistent.
