On February 11, 2026 we did a presentation to a group of Phoenix High School students regarding the importance of spaying/neutering their kittens/cats along with vaccinations. They had lots of great questions after we were done presenting.

In appreciation of our presentation, they sewed super cute kitty patterned blankets to be used in our traps or for kittens/cats we are fostering until they go for adoption.

Thank you to all the students and staff that worked on this project. We were very pleased with the thoughtfulness and deeply appreciate all the effort that went into making the kittens/cats stay with us more comfortable!

Getting an early start this morning for Mondays appts. 3 adults and 5 kittens from the same site. Last kitten from a different site finally caught!

Last week's trapping we had 4 females and 4 males fixed with 4 neonatal kittens given to a partner rescue.

This week we had 5 females fixed, 1 adult female went into foster along with her 4 kittens.

Out trapping this morning and I seemed to have picked up a very friendly helper! Kitty got pets and a treat after checking out all the traps then wandered off.

Smudge has had such a rough week with having to supervise trap cleaning, yard clean up and keeping tabs on all the visiting birds! Found the perfect spot to cat nap while keeping an eye partially open for visiting quail.

Momma stashed kittens in someone's shed so they were greatly surprised when they ran across them! 4 adorable little kittens were picked up today and taken to a partner rescue where they will be put up for adoption when they're big enough.
