EWS-SWE Framatome $1000 Scholarship - Applications must be electronically submitted by April 30th, at: ews.swe.org/scholarshipform
Eligibility EWS SWE Framatome Scholarship – Eastern Washington
• Be a student who has completed at least one-year studies in an ABET accredited school with the intention to enter the field of engineering.
• Be in position to accept the scholarship toward undergraduate or graduate engineering studies in an accredited school in the fall following presentation of the award.
• Be a resident of or attending school in the eastern part of Washington State.

Application must be electronically submitted by April 30, 2025.

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Environmental Management (EM) is seeking college students for summer internships. The positions include participating in learning and development opportunities, be actively mentored by EM staff, as well as receive additional support to effectively accomplish internship goals. Appointments may involve projects focused on engineering, science, research, technology, policy, and business. The deadline for applications is May 28, 2025.

With Speakers Teresa Torres and Ann Langevin
The Way We Are is an annual event where local women engineers talk about their careers. This years’ presentation will focus on our theme EWS: 50 Years and Counting.

Teresa will speak on "Seventy-five Years of SWE and Fifty Years of EWS" and Ann will speak on "EWS - Memories from Our Section's History”

Join us for this opportunity to network with other professionals, learn about unique careers, and enjoy a casual dinner Thursday September 25, 2025, at Porter’s Real Barbeque, Thursday 1092 George Washington Way, Richland, WA 99352.

Schedule is as follows:
6:00pm - 7:00 pm: Networking and Dinner
7:00 - 8:00 pm: Speaker presentations.
