A big congratulations to these PTAs for starting the school year in GOOD STANDING with Texas PTA!

Good standing means the important behind-the-scenes work is getting done. Membership is reported, dues are remitted, leadership is registered, bylaws are up to date, and required filings are completed.

It may not be the most visible part of PTA, but it’s what keeps our organizations strong, compliant, and ready to serve our students and schools.

Way to go, Apollo Junior High, Big Springs Elementary, Lake Highlands Middle School, and Yale Elementary! 👏

The first day of school brings all kinds of emotions—excitement, nervousness, relief, and maybe even a few tears. Whether you're celebrating, snapping those first-day photos, or watching your child walk through the doors with mixed feelings, you're not alone.

After drop-off, join the Yale PTA by the marquee for coffee and conversation with fellow Yale parents. Celebrate the start of a new school year, share stories, make new connections, and enjoy a cup of coffee with our school community.
