On October 12, 2026, Amy Malone, President of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) Inland Empire Section and Southern California Coalition, addressed the San Bernardino County Board of Education in support of Dr. Gwendolyn Dowdy-Rodgers, Board President and a valued member of NCNW Inland Empire.

At a time when our children and families face serious challenges, including homelessness, poverty, and uncertainty about their futures, our focus must remain on the issues that directly impact their, well-being, and education.

Our children deserve leadership focused on solutions, not personal attacks. Their futures must remain our priority.
