⚠️ Trigger Warning: Animal Cruelty ⚠️
Sometimes rescue reminds us of both the worst and the very best of humanity.
Recently, Joyce from Angels Assisting Felines was contacted about a tiny kitten now named Honey, who survived an unimaginable act of cruelty. Honey was found abandoned in traffic with duct tape placed over her eyes and ears. Thankfully, a kindhearted person stopped, ran into traffic, and rescued her before something even more tragic could happen.
Despite everything she has endured, Honey is safe now. 💛
She is currently being cared for, evaluated, and loved, and she already has a wonderful adoptive home lined up with someone close to her rescuer. Our goal now is to make sure Honey receives complete veterinary care through Pet Lovers Animal Hospital at 614-866-1912 (you can call and make a donation on our AAF account to go toward her care) and gets absolutely spoiled during her recovery with soft blankets, cozy beds, nutritious food, and treats.
If Honey’s story touches your heart and you would like to help support her specific care, donations can be sent via Venmo with “Honey” in the description so funds go directly toward her medical care and comfort.
Most importantly, thank you to the incredible human who chose compassion and action in a moment when it mattered most. Honey’s story could have ended very differently because of one brave person.
Welcome to safety, sweet Honey. 🐾💛
