It is that time of year again! The kids are looking forward to camp! Would you like to be a part of their story? We are looking for people to help sponsor this year's camp. The children of Grace Orphanage and some foster children from Ukraine are able to spend 10 days in the Carpathian Mountains, safe from the war. They are able to rest and relax and just be kids! UPDATE: We pre-ordered the generator but still need the funds to pay for it. We have had about $250 donated so far. Will you help us finish funding this item for this foster family? Cold long nights coupled with fear from drone attacks is making this a long winter for this family. We can't stop the drones but we can provide warmth to help this family during this difficult time. Thank you for your consideration in coming along side us to fulfill this need!

We have an immediate need request! We need about $1250 to help a foster family purchase a generator to run their hear during power outages in Kiev! This foster family currently has two teenagers living in the home and they only have power a few hours a day. It is very cold there and their current generator just stopped working. Food insecurity is a real issue for children in Ukraine, especially orphans. As we enter a holiday season where food is typically in abundance, such as Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, would you join me in remembering that not all are as fortunate as we are. Our partners in Ukraine are needing assistance with paying for food this month. Would you join with us and consider giving a gift to help feed the children of Grace Orphanage? They trust God for their food budget every month and He is always faithful. God does not need us to help feed these children, He gives us the chance to be part of something close to his heart. In James 1:27 Jesus tells us, "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world."

While visiting these orphans may not be possible right now, and may not be something you personally can do, you can help meet their needs from the comfort of your own home! This has taken us longer than we had hoped to put together, but life has been very busy for our family! Here are some of our favorite pictures from camp via a link to our updated webpage! We could use your financial assistance right now to help provide food for the children of Grace and we could also use your help to fund next year's camp! We have had a generous donor give us another great head start but we would like to have the funds together in advance this year so we can plan appropriately. These kids have a way of working themselves into your heart! A brother and sister joined a foster family shortly after they returned from camp and another group of two sisters were adopted into a forever family in Ukraine! God is moving in mighty ways throughout Ukraine and we are blessed to help Grace make some of these dreams come true of a loving family for orphans in Ukraine. Our page has over 400 followers. If just 25% of those followers gave just $10 per month, we would have half the money we needed to help provide food for children in Ukraine. I'm excited to share that another sibling group has been placed in a foster family from Grace. I love that I get to be just a small part of their journey. These two were not at Grace long. They lost their father in the war and mom was unable to care for them so they were placed at Grace just a couple of months ago. I'm grateful to have met them and hope to get to see them when I visit Ukraine as I grew quite fond of them while I was at camp. Supporting Grace means supporting these kids hearing the gospel, being loved by the staff, and being championed for in life, including being placed in families. I'm safely back in Poland and about an hour from the Warsaw airport. I'm staying at a hotel there overnight since I have such an early flight. I'll post more when I return and will update our Simply Loved website soon. This trip was even better than last year! I was able to get some R&R in with friends, spend time with a young lady we hosted in 2018, and spend five days in the mountains with 19 children who are forever etched in my heart and mind! I'm just going to leave it with this picture I created on my drive...
