Ten years ago, a handful of community members and physician scientists at Stanford dedicated themselves to the creation of a special place for women and their families to receive state of the art, compassionate care and supportive services when faced with a diagnosis of breast or gynecologic cancer. Today the Stanford Women’s Cancer Center (WCC) is providing unparalleled treatment, scientific disc

personalized care – inspiring us to further extend our knowledge and expand the reach of our programs. The Under One Umbrella community is dedicated to supporting The Stanford Women’s Cancer Center in its mission to improve survival and quality of life for women with cancer through scientific innovation, multidisciplinary personalized medicine, and supportive services. Through fundraising, the annual Under One Umbrella gala, and other activities, this community aims to help the WCC recruit and retain distinguished faculty and exceptional staff, use cutting-edge technology to conduct breakthrough research, and provide individualized and compassionate treatment to women diagnosed with breast and gynecologic cancers.
