Since 1989, RTP has supported homeownership through our dedication to making homes safer places in which to live.

By helping with critical home repairs that may go unaddressed due to limited funds, RTP partners with homeowners across the SF Peninsula to ensure that these needs are covered, so they can enjoy their living spaces for longer and in comfort.

Measure K is at work!

With support from San Mateo County District 4 funding, RTP is making positive impact in the local community.

Take this Belle Haven home for instance...RTP technicians and volunteers not only upgraded the security of the backyard fence and gate, and refreshed the exterior paint, but also replaced kitchen & bathroom flooring along with multiple appliance and carpentry tasks to secure a healthier home.

Thank you, Supervisor Gauthier for the commitment and to the partners who activated direct change.

Thank you, Kiwanis Palo Alto!

With service and support from our longtime partners in Kiwanis Palo Alto, a Coastside elementary school received much needed rehabilitation this National Rebuilding Day season.

From a new deck to support a rest area, newly painted fixtures and weathered walls, and securing perimeter fencing privacy, the Kiwanis team oversaw positive impact with their trademark commitment to uplifting youth spaces.

Cheers to another successful Rebuilding Day project, and a revitalized community facility!

What good can a group of engaged volunteers do for a neighbor?

Ask senior homeowner Bertha, who received a new - and needed - ramp for safer backyard access, thanks to recent work by RTP and supporters.

"This is excellent. This is more than I asked for. It's not just for me but for the community; it's help especially for elderly people."

Making sure our neighbors are safe at home is the core of what we do, day in and day out.

Thank you, RTP friends and supporters!

Last week, partners joined us for an evening of appreciation and conversation on our rebuilding and revitalizing work across the SF Peninsula.

Thank you to the Hiller Aviation Museum for hosting and William Jay Catering for catering a fun and lively occasion.

And many thanks to our friends who joined us in person, and in support of safe homes and communities for everyone.

Everyone deserves a safe and healthy home.

Those most impacted by the rising costs of home maintenance - neighbors on limited income - may see pressing repairs linger.

For one Mountain View homeowner in her 70s and living alone, multiple needs impacted her sense of safety.

But RTP partnered with her to rectify a number of items: a failing fence, appliances that stopped working, trip hazards in the yard, and weakened entry stairs.

Simply put, “Because of your skills, I feel safer in my home. Thank you so much for all the time and efforts on my behalf.”

Since 1989, RTP has worked to ensure safe & healthy housing across the SF Peninsula.

And, as a result, we've helped preserve affordable homeownership for countless community members by taking needed repairs and modifications off their plates.

As the cost of living - and home maintenance - continues to increase in the Bay Area, our work remains critical in maintaining the stability of our shared communities.

You can help. By partnering with us through a donation or volunteering, you can make a difference in the lives of our neighbors.

What a weekend!

From Colma and Pacifica, to Half Moon Bay, and to East Palo Alto and Los Altos Hills...

Our partners and volunteers showed up in force to repair, revitalize, and rebuild with us. is a community effort, and the reward felt and impact made in team spirit was evident across our 16 project sites this past Friday & Saturday alone.

Thank You!

But we're not done yet, with even more rebuilding and repairing set throughout the spring. It's our favorite time of the year!

National Rebuilding Day is upon us tomorrow!

Our projects this spring would not be possible without the dedication and support of our sponsors and their contributing employee and member volunteers.

Organizations such as Woodlawn Foundation, Whiting-Turner, and Rambus, amongst many others, are delivering much more than labor and materials - they are helping provide the security and safety of healthier homes and spaces to our neighbors throughout the SF Peninsula.

Please join us in thanking our partners!

Because everyone deserves a safe and healthy home.
