This event is dedicated to those who participated in our social programming over the years. OurTism is founded by autistic adults who knows what it's like. Socializing is difficult for a vast amount of reasons when you're autistic. A sense of community is important, especially when your experience is not common. Our social events have always meant to bring a sense of community, belonging, safety in social settings and of course most importantly a time to have fun and be yourself. Your authentic autistic joy always has a place at OurTism.

We have done exclusions including bowling, picnics, hiking, and movies. Our most popular events have always been our hangouts. OurTism hangouts take place in our den. The den is set up to look like a living room where you can eat, pull games off the shelves to play, and chat with friends.

We invite you- our clients to return to our den for one last Hangout. Autistic adults are welcome to join OurTism's last Hangout before our doors close. This event is free. Register on our website- like available in our bio.

OurTism is heartbroken to announce that we are closing our doors November 26th. We have been honored to have remained open the past 7 years.

A note from Founder
the closing door metaphor never seemed accurate to me. A door closed can still be reopened. So I invite you to reframe with me. What OurTism built and invited you behind our door to experience is closing, but what you gained can be taken with you. You can reopen the door and build what you need. I will treasure the memories created at OurTism.
