For many years people have known Hands of Mercy as a ministry that builds homes in México.

But the truth is... it has never really been about the house.

A house is simply the beginning of a story that God is writing.

We've watched Him provide shelter for families who have prayed for years, strengthen local churches, and remind people that they have not been forgotten. At the same time, we've seen Him transform the hearts of those who were willing to simply say "yes" and go. Time after time, volunteers return home with a different perspective, a deeper faith, and a renewed understanding of what truly matters.

This video shares the heart of Hands of Mercy—why we do what we do, and more importantly, what God does when ordinary people take a step of obedience.

If you've ever wondered what Hands of Mercy is really about, we would love for you to take a few minutes to watch.

Dear Friends,

Over the years, many of you have faithfully served alongside Hands of Mercy. Together we've built homes, shared meals, prayed with families, laughed, cried, and watched God do things that only He could accomplish. We are deeply grateful for the role each of you has played in this ministry.

As we look toward the future, we are working on something very special—a HōM Vision Book.

Our hope is that this book will do much more than preserve the history of Hands of Mercy. We want it to preserve the heart, the values, and the DNA of the ministry so that long after today's leaders are gone, future generations will understand that this has always been God's ministry, not ours. We want those who come after us to see His faithfulness and give Him all the glory.

One of the most important parts of this book will be the stories of people whose lives God has impacted through HōM.

Would you be willing to share one?

It could be:

A favorite memory from a build trip or pre-build.

A moment when you saw God at work.

An experience that changed your perspective or strengthened your faith.

A relationship that was formed through HōM.

A lesson God taught you through serving.

Most importantly, we'd love to hear how God used that experience in your life. Looking back, how did He shape you? What did He teach you? How has that experience continued to influence your walk with Him?

Your story doesn't have to be long or polished. Just write from your heart. We are looking for authentic testimonies of God's faithfulness.

It is our prayer that years from now, someone reading these stories will finish the book with one overwhelming conclusion:

"What a faithful God."

This past weekend we closed out our season before summer break with 4 houses and 4 families that got to experience the love of Jesus in action. Well done, Clovis EV Free Church, Emmaus Church, Rolling Hills Covenant Church and Highlands Church.
