I had a great conversation with Sonja Shaw and Matt Ward on Around Town about something that matters to every family in Shasta County:

Our kids. Our schools. Our future.

School boards matter.

Parents matter.

And who we elect to represent our families matters.

📚 Keep education focused on education.

👨‍👩‍👧 Keep parents at the table.

🍎 Support our teachers.

🇺🇸 Prepare our kids for college, the trades, business, or the military.

📖 And above all:

Teach kids how to read—not what to think.
