This heat has everyone beat… so PTA brought the SWEET!

Today, we surprised our students with popsicles during recess to help them cool down and beat the Texas heat! A little treat, a lot of smiles, and the perfect way to refresh!

A little bit of Wooden History

🧠 Trivia Tuesday: Red Oak ISD History!

Do you know the story behind Wooden Elementary?

✅ Wooden Elementary originally occupied the building on the ROMS campus that is now the Student Services Center (with DAEP, Hawk Success and additional resources.)
✅ Built in 1973 and expanded in 1985.
✅ The second elementary campus in Red Oak ISD.
✅ Relocated to a new campus down the street in 1999 and remains there today.
✅ Named after former superintendent Mr. Henry A. Wooden.

Happy First Day of School, Wooden Families! 🍎

We want to give a BIG thank you to our amazing vendor Card Yard Cuties DFW LLC for helping us bring this fun yard sign to life! This yard sign was funded by Wooden PTA as a special way to welcome our students and families back for another amazing school year! We hope it adds a little extra excitement to everyone’s first day! 🚌🌈
