North Ellis County Outreach NECO is a faith-based, Christ-centered social service ministry that assists families living in ROISD/FISD service areas with food, clothing, and utilities.

North Ellis County is a local not for profit agency that assists families in our area with emergency assistance for food, housing, clothing and utilities. NECO also sponsors a back to school program and Christmas toy program. Prescription assistance and home repairs are also provided for qualified families. Applicants must apply in person during posted hours and qualify based on income and family size. Former clients must participate in education classes to continue to receive services through our agency.

💕 Celebrating Strength, Hope, and Our NECO Family! 💕

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this month we're honoring the strength and courage of breast cancer survivors, including several members of our own NECO family. 💗

Today, we're especially celebrating one of those wonderful team members—Sylvia!

We are so blessed by Sylvia's kindness, passion, and genuine care for our store guests. She brings joy to our store every day!

If you've visited NECO, you may have heard Sylvia ringing her bell! 🔔 She loves welcoming first-time guests and celebrating when they join our loyalty program. It's just one of the many ways she makes people feel special.

Sylvia, we're thankful for you and the difference you make every day!

To Sylvia, our other team members who are breast cancer survivors, and everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer—we celebrate your strength, honor your journeys, and stand together in hope. 💕

NECO needs 34 bottles of apple juice for our pantry!

This is an easy way to make a direct difference for the neighbors we serve across the ROISD and Ferris ISD communities. If several friends each provide just one or two bottles, we can reach our goal quickly!

That's what you gave to North Ellis County Outreach through North Texas Giving Day!

Throughout our Giving Day campaign, we shared some examples of what your gifts can do. One of our biggest needs has been replacing the commercial freezers and refrigerators we depend on to safely store food for the people we serve.

❄️ $3,000 can purchase a much-needed commercial freezer or refrigerator.

Together, you gave $3,065 — enough to represent one of those major equipment needs and more!

But the impact of your generosity goes beyond a piece of equipment. It helps NECO continue providing food, clothing, essential utility assistance, and other support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families across our communities.

We’ll have a selection of items for sale, so be sure to stop by our booth, say hello, and see what treasures we brought with us!

Today is the day to **Give Local. Help a Neighbor.**

At North Ellis County Outreach, your gift stays close to home, helping seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families **across the Red Oak ISD and Ferris ISD communities** with food, clothing, essential utility assistance, and other basic needs.

And every gift can make a difference:

Some gifts help us put food on the table today. Others help NECO build the capacity to **serve our neighbors day after day.**

A **$3,000 gift** can help NECO purchase a much-needed **commercial freezer or refrigerator** for our food pantry.

These aren't just pieces of equipment. They allow us to safely store more donated food, accept items that require refrigeration or freezing, and make more food available to the seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families we serve across the **Red Oak ISD and Ferris ISD communities**.

Every shelf and every freezer we can fill represents food that can make its way to a neighbor who needs it.
