Mrs. Pelzer is at the Iowa State Fair FFA goat show today and will not be at back to school night. Please stop by our booth outside the Ag room and grab a membership form!

We would like to give a huge shoutout to a few of our former Red Oak FFA members for all of their hard work at the fair! Thank you for the many hours you spent helping with livestock shows and all of the behind the scenes work that keeps the fair running smoothly! 🐷🐐

Members have had a busy fair!

AJ Beeson, Audri Johnson, and Cash Harold showed in the goat show.

Cash Harold won Reserve Overall Breeding Doe and Intermediate Showmen.

Gabe Kingery, Audri Johnson, and Dystiney Pruett showed poultry.

Gabe Kingery had the Grand Champion Domestic Fowl Individual as well as the Reserve. He also won the Grand Champion Domestic Fowl Meat Pen.

We also hosted the Livestock Judging Contest. We had the 8th Overall team consisting of Dillan Rydberg, Caleb Rydberg, Caden Rehfeldt, and Natalie Johnson. Natalie Johnson was 8th as an individual.

Way to go kids!

FFA members have kicked the fair off with a bang!

Gabe Kingery showed his dog Scout in Obedience and Showmanship/Handling. He was Grand Champion in the Obedience class.

Audri Johnson and Dystiney Pruett were on the queen court. Dillan Rydberg and Owen Blystone served as ushers for the candidates.

Audri Johnson was selected as the 2026 Montgomery County Fair Queen!
