The US National Weather Service Boston MA is forecasting heavy showers and scattered thunderstorms throughout much of Massachusetts on Monday, possibly causing street flooding.

If you are in an area that receives a Flash Flood Warning:

• Move to higher ground immediately.
• Avoid walking or driving through flood waters.

[Extreme Heat Warning Continues Through Saturday] Extreme heat and humidity develops this afternoon and continues through Saturday. The worst of the dangerous heat peaks Thu and Fri when afternoon heat indices reach between 100 and 115 degrees! This will be a prolonged and dangerous heatwave with little relief at night.

A Heat Advisory has been issued for 11AM Tuesday through 8PM Wednesday. Early season heat is expected to peak Tuesday, with record-breaking high temperatures in the low to mid 90s across most of southern New England.
