Where Is Debra Melo? Debra Melo disappeared on June 20, 2000 from Weymouth, Massachusetts according to the last person who saw her - her husband Louis Melo, Sr.

There have been no sightings of her since that day. Tips have lead to searches in her hometown of Taunton, Mass.

When Debra disappeared, she was 30, the mother of two young kids, and close to her family. In the time that she has been gone, family members have passed away, including her only son, Louis Jr, and grandchildren have been born. We know people have information about the day Debra disappeared and the days that followed. Share what you know, what you saw, what you heard. TDN’s 5th Annual Domestic Violence Vigil

The Taunton Diversity Network and New Hope, Inc. invite you to come together as a community to Break the Silence and End the Violence.

Thursday, October 23, 2025
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Baptist Church of All Nations (61 Winthrop St.)

Following the program, there will be a Candlelight Vigil and a Procession to Taunton Green (7:00–7:30 PM).

This is a time to honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and reaffirm our commitment to creating a safe, loving, and equitable world.
