Juneteenth is a time to reflect on our nation's history and celebrate the resilience, achievements, and contributions of Black Americans.

Juneteenth commemorates the day in 1865 when the last enslaved people in the United States learned of their freedom--more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was instated. We recognize this important day through community celebration and worldwide recognition. ❤️💛💚🖤

Supporting young LGBTQ+ people means creating safe and affirming spaces constantly--not just during Pride Month. Allies can make a difference by listening without judgment, using respectful names and pronouns, and standing up against bullying.

Pride is a reminder, but support should always be consistent. 🌈💙
