Hope Full Life Center Inc.

Hope Full Life Center Inc. Hope Full Life Center assists the needy in the Capital Region through programs that provide a hand up.

Hope Full Life Center was created to help struggling people fill basic needs so they have a fighting chance to reach their full potential. The charity got its start in 2010 with a food assistance program, christened Helping Harvest. The program serves people living below USDA guidelines for poverty. Our customers are able to select groceries and make a small donation for purchases to support the s

tore. Helping Harvest's goal is to fill in the gaps the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) does not cover and provide reprieve from full retail prices for additional food and other necessities. With more than 350 families currently on its membership rolls, Helping Harvest has helped to feed more than 1,000 people in Ravena and the surrounding communities. Incorporated as a not-for-profit in 2012, Hope Full Life Center is affiliated with Abounding Love Christian Fellowship, a non-denominational church, also located in Faith Plaza in Ravena. We are God-inspired and continue to seek His guidance for our direction and growth. Matthew 25:40
"Truly, I tell you, whatever you did for the least of these you did unto me."

Thank you to everyone who attended our 2026 Charitable Foundation Awards Ceremony at our Ravena branch! This year we are awarding $534,000 to local organizations!

Helping Harvest runs on community 🌟

Looking for a meaningful way to give back locally? Helping Harvest is always looking for volunteers to help keep our shelves stocked, organize deliveries, and support families in our community.

Whether you can give a few hours once a month or help weekly, every little bit truly makes a difference.

We especially appreciate volunteers who can assist with heavier deliveries and lifting, but there’s a place for everyone to help.

Interested in volunteering? Send us a message or stop by the store to learn more.

It feels awesome to be with other organizations and people fighting hunger in RCS! We were glad to participate in the RCS Association of Churches’ FUN Walk (Feed Ur Neighbor) on Sunday.

Stats on hunger among veterans, seniors and other vulnerable populations were shared. We also talked about local resources to assist people, including our Helping Harvest program.

What makes Helping Harvest different is its foundation of shared responsibility.

Families pay less for groceries than they would at traditional stores, while still contributing toward the program. Those contributions help sustain the initiative and ensure it remains available to others in the community.

It’s more than receiving support — it’s about participating in a community that works together to help one another thrive.

We’re better prepared for emergencies at Helping Harvest!

Thank you to the Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation, Inc. and the American Red Cross Eastern New York for providing us with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and the training needed to use it. This support helps us create a safer environment for our members, volunteers, and staff.
