Rare Vintage Aynsley "Cabbage Rose" Teacup & Saucer — Hand-Signed by J.A. Bailey
Meet the showstopper of our porcelain collection: an all-gold gilded Aynsley fine bone china set from England, dating to the golden age of hand-painted ceramics (circa 1937–1939).
🌹 The interior and saucer center burst with a vivid floral bouquet — hand-signed by the legendary J.A. Bailey, right at the start of his celebrated tenure at Aynsley.
🌟 Wrapped in opulent, heavy gold gilding on both cup and saucer, this piece was made to be a showpiece — not just a teacup.
🏺 Authenticated by the original green Aynsley crown backstamp on the underside of both pieces.
💎 Excellent vintage condition — no chips, no cracks, no repairs. Just the gentle, honest patina of nearly 90 years (a few micro-scratches on the gilding that only add to its story).
This exact pattern has sold for as much as $1,200 on eBay, up to $1,166 on Etsy, and fetched $1,000 at auction in 2022.
