⏪ HOW IT STARTED

In 2011, Jeff Bekendam was challenged to take his skills to a hospice hospital in a rural village in eastern Kenya.

A trip was planned, and Jeff, Natalie, and Jeff’s daughter Alex went to the Living Room (a hospice hospital) and saw firsthand how physical therapy could help so many in need. At the conclusion of that trip, Compassion PT was born, and the dreaming began.

⏩️ Fast forward to today and our team has faithfully continued to serve this community. In fact, we are headed back to Kenya in November and could use your support. Would you please consider donating?

Our team is headed back to Kenya in November! We have partnered with@livingroominternational in order to provide physical therapy care and treatment both in clinic and via home visits to those who need it desperately.

Our team will be there from November 8-15 and are in need of your help. Our goal is to take essential equipment, supplies, and educational resources with us to help treat as many people as possible. We are currently seeking donations to make this mission possible.

help treat his RIGHT CUBITAL TUNNEL SYNDROME. This causes numbness and tingling in the right ring and pinky fingers, aching pain along the inner elbow, and potential hand weakness.

His treatment includes:
- Physical agents
- Electrotherapy and Magnetotherapy
- Pressotherapy
- Therapeutic laser and ultrasound
- Increased range of motion in the forearm
and right hand
- Grip and pressure exercises
- Texture differentiation
- Muscle strengthening of upper limbs
