We'll (Stacey and/or Kim) be picking up the Fair checks, buckles, and pictures at the Fairgrounds this week.
Like we do every year, we'll recognize our exhibitors and present all of the goodies at our first meeting of the year, so be sure to attend our Community meeting on September 9th!

Today we mourn the loss of an American icon, a beloved philanthropist and a proud 4-H alumna, Dolly Parton. Her extraordinary life was defined not only by her incredible talent, but by her unwavering generosity, compassion and commitment to helping others.

For generations of young people, Dolly embodied what it means to use your gifts in service of others. From her roots in 4-H to her lifelong investment in literacy, education and community, she showed us that true leadership is grounded in humility, kindness, and purpose. As Dolly once said, "storms make trees take deeper roots." 💚

A proud 4-H alumna, she reminded us that challenges can strengthen us and help us grow. That wisdom will continue to inspire young people and communities for generations to come. We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and the millions whose lives she touched. Her legacy of hope, generosity, and service will live on. 🍀

Late post - sorry! The Stars also had a Junior showing in Small Animal Master Showmanship. Just as in Large Animal, all of these showmen have won the Showmanship class for their species, and then show all of the Small Animal species - rabbit, cavy, chicken, turkey, dog, and pygmy goat. Big congrats to our member, who placed 3rd overall!

It was a great Auction day at the Ramona Junior Fair! Stars had pigs, goats, lambs, Home Ec items, and Industrial Arts projects go through. Our community came out to strongly support the kids!
Huge thanks to all of the members and parents who helped out today - auction and after-auction running, helping in the barns, cleaning up trash, and more. You are appreciated!

In Master Showmanship, the winner of Showmanship for each species shows all of the species. This morning was Large Animal Master Showmanship and we had a Junior competing - she had to show beef, swine, market goat, dairy goat, and lamb. Results are announced at the awards ceremony on Sunday morning!
