Our goal, like yours, is to ensure that the "new adults" are equipped and willing to be used by God to make the world a better place. My Daddy Inc is a place where people can connect to celebrate their dads! We hope to offer a place to recreate the "building of the barn" from the pioneer days. Back then, and even still today in some places, fathers helped each other grow crops, run businesses, and
raise their families. People coming together to help people. Whether we are helping you with your search for resources, or assisting you in a tragedy, our goal is to be YOUR GO TO neighbor! We have found that dads today have very little resources available to them. Times are tough for all of us right now! The hardest task today is being a good father. This role should not be overlooked, but rather it is to be celebrated, and not allowed to be demolished. Unfortunately, there are far too many dads (and moms) who get so frustrated in life that they take out their inability to cope on the very ones who love them the most. Some never learned coping skills, others have developed mental and emotional illnesses resulting in anger or compulsive behaviors. Even worse, there are those who have become criminals and physical abusers. Whether emotional, financial, physical, spiritual, or verbal these folks victimize their family members creating an unproductive environment for their children and loved ones. THESE PEOPLE NEED HELP NOT PITY OR RIDICULE. Their family is in trouble, and unless someone steps in to intervene, EACH MEMBER OF THIS FAMILY WILL BE LOST IN A VIOLENT NONPRODUCTIVE CYCLE. It is our belief that many, if not all of these families can be helped; and are each worthy of the effort to try to help and cause recovery. NOT ALL FAMILIES WILL RESPOND TO TREATMENT, but without ANY treatment the family will not survive, and the children face the possibility of repeating wrong behaviors. Using a comprehensive and individual approach, it is our goal to put an end to Domestic Violence one family at a time through education and individualized therapy and treatment. We have many family programs to ensure that the family is a place where children can grow and learn in safety and thereby embrace a solid future.
