Good evening,
I have wonderful news. This year's Robert Burns dinner is our fifth year anniversary and we intend to make it bigger and better than anything we have done in the past. We have gone from a small group five years ago in the front room of Paragon Tap and Table in Clark, NJ to taking over the entire restaurant on a Monday night. Yes that is correct, we will have the entire restaurant. To celebrate the work of Robert Burns, enjoy the pipes, the grand food, outstanding scotch slelections, the friendship and most importantly raise money so that others may thrive.
In the time Taming the Tempest has existed we have raised over $13,000 and it has all gone directly to our cause, assisting those that have suffered the deadly effects of a ruptured aneurysm. I will be sending out more information soon. I wanted to get this out so those of us that want to get a jump on your tickets can do so.
A number of us have already purchased tickets having seen the flyers and posters in Paragon Tap and Table. Though we have the entire restaurant I want to make sure there will be plenty of room to enjoy ourselves. So if you want to get a jump on your tickets please feel free to do so.
There will also be other ways to support the cause I will be sending out. It should be noted there are a number of us that do not particularly care for scotch or alcohol but want to support the cause. Please get in touch with me and I will make it work. I guarantee you will have a grand evening.

Please join us for a Wine Tasting event on October 30th, hosted by Taming the Tempest. This fundraiser will raise money to help the ravages caused by aneurysms on families in need. Seats are limited so act fast.

I am excited to announce that we will have a table at this year’s Hot Rods and Harleys held in downtown Rahway, on Saturday May 10, 2025, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. I will be there providing information on the group. Please stop by and say hello! This is a grand chance to get our name out there and show people what we do. Once I have more information, I will pass it on.

Hello, we have sold out on our Robert Burns Dinner for next week! A huge thank you to all who purchased tickets and/or donated to my group! I can't wait to see everyone at this wonderful event. If you missed out on it, we still have our BBQ and Blues event later this year! Again, thank you!

Hello! Attached is the flyer for our 4th Annual Burns Night featuring Premium Balvenie Scotches and a 4 course dinner featuring a traditional Scottish menu to celebrate the bard (Robert Burns) himself. The night will also feature Bagpipes, Poetry, and a few surprises. All proceeds will go to Taming The Tempest. Be on the look out for additional information.

Good Evening!

I have been preparing for our next fundraiser for Taming The Tempest. Our group is dedicated to stopping the ravages of aneurysms. We have done a great job of matching the wines with the food courses. I hope everyone will consider putting the event on their calendar and come out for a great evening of food, wine, and to support a great cause. I have attached the flyer with the menu as well as the chosen wines. There is also an additional wine that will be at the tasting.

Good Evening,

Taming the Tempest will be hosting a Wine Tasting & Food Pairing event on October 23, 2024. It will be hosted at Il Forno A Legna in Rahway, NJ. The night will begin at 6:00 PM and end at 9:00 PM.

Good evening Everyone,
I hope this finds you well. For anyone that does not have their tickets for tomorrow's game, I will be at the stadium in the center entrance and give everyone their ticket and you can go up to the suite and let the fun begin. I should be there waiting by 6:30 pm. I will be wearing a hat and waiting for everyone to get there. My email is; [email protected]. I do not want to put my cell number online. If you want my cell that is fine just shoot me an email and I will send it right out. If you want to pick up your ticket tomorrow let me know and I will get it to you.
