Y’all have been asking for a rototiller, digging bar, torque wrench, disc sander, and log splitter - and they are here! (The log splitter is not quite ready yet!)

We are so honored to have been presented with the Jefferson County Public Health Hero award alongside so many impactful members of this community 🥳 It was a joy to sit amongst so many people who care deeply about this community and show it with their actions. JeffCo Repair was created to help minimize waste in our community, empower our residents to learn skills, and build community connections. Thank you to the for recognizing our efforts!

Mandi Johnson was recognized for her leadership with the JeffCo Repair program. Through the Port Townsend Marine Science Center, this program was created as an answer to the question: how do we look upstream and prevent waste from even being created, before it gets to our beaches and our landfills?

It’s truly inspiring to see the care and commitment we have in this community.

We may have been accidentally locked out of the repair event venue, but this scrappy crew made it work! We found a power outlet, moved some picnic tables from the park next door, and got to fixing! We’re just grateful it was a sunny day ☀️

Quilcene - dig out those broken belongings because we’ll be there fixing stuff this Saturday! Find us at the Quilcene Community Center from 12-3pm on April 18th. We’ll have volunteers ready to attempt repairs on clothes, small appliance, other household items, bikes, and sharpen your tools!

If you normally can’t make our Saturday events, this one is for you! Find us fixing things next Thursday (4/9) from 5-7 pm at the Cotton Building in downtown Port Townsend!
Please note - tool sharpening will not be available at this event. BUT we will be ready to attempt repairs on just about anything else you can bring in. Things like clothing, bicycles, small appliances/electronics, kitchen gadgets, and other household items!

Brinnon - we’ll be out your way next Saturday (March 21st) from 11am - 2pm to get your belongings repaired!
We’ll have folks ready to fix up your small appliances, electronics, clothing and other textiles, tools, and other household items. Plus, we’ll have someone there to help sharpen your garden tools!

Our first Repair Event of 2026 is next Saturday!
Did your holiday lights go out this last season?
Do your loppers need to be sharpened?
Have you worn through the elbows on your favorite sweater?
Or maybe, you just pulled your bike out to ride around in this lovely weather and something is not right!

Bring it all by our Repair Event on February 21st from 10 - 1 pm at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.
