This weekend, we welcome back the CARPE DIEM STRING QUARTET. On Friday afternoon, they’re presenting an original work—“An American Story”—which traces the path of each quartet member’s ancestry to the U.S.A. With this interactive program, composed by the Quartet, you’ll have a chance to weigh in on what path each ancestor should take. On Saturday and Sunday, the Carpies take up their bows to perform works by Erwin Schulhoff, one of Beethoven’s earliest string quartets, and the unrestrained romanticism of Tchaikovsky’s string quartet No. 1. If you plan on sitting in the barn, please reserve your seats now! https://www.concertsinthebarn.org/

ALAN'S 2026 PARTY PHOTOS—May 17th was a joyous day, indeed, as we gathered in the barn to pay tribute to Alan Iglitzin. Five colleagues performed a stunning concert (and the stories they told were pretty stunning, too)! Photos by Peter Mark Photography.
